Job Description
We are looking for a vigilant, friendly, and dedicated Swimming Pool Attendant to join our team at Hotel Alvorada Matola. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the swimming pool area diligently to ensure the safety of all guests, particularly children.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations fairly and consistently to prevent accidents and maintain order.
- Provide immediate assistance and first aid in the event of an emergency, and initiate rescue procedures when necessary.
- Perform regular checks of the pool and surrounding areas for cleanliness, debris, and potential hazards.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of pool equipment, such as lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
- Maintain accurate records of pool attendance, chemical levels, and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions, providing directions, and ensuring a pleasant experience.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, chemical imbalances, or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and safety drills to enhance emergency response capabilities.
- Ensure adequate supplies of clean towels are available and the changing rooms are tidy.
- Conduct daily visual inspections of the pool water clarity and temperature.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic first aid and CPR certification.
- Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness.

Preferred Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
