Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and hair history, offering expert advice and creative solutions.
- Perform a wide array of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring (highlights, balayage, full colour), perms, straightening, and advanced treatments.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products, incorporating them into your service offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction throughout their salon experience.
- Recommend and upsell appropriate hair care products and services to clients, educating them on maintaining their hair's health and style at home.
- Manage bookings, maintain accurate client records, and process payments efficiently using our salon software.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of your workstation and all salon equipment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and salon standards.
- Actively participate in salon training sessions, team meetings, and promotional activities to enhance skills and contribute to team goals.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through professional rapport, consistent quality service, and exceptional client retention strategies.
- Assist with general salon duties as needed, contributing to a harmonious, productive, and inviting work environment for both staff and clients.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques, including advanced methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong client consultation and sales abilities, with a knack for product recommendation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.
