Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Health Advocates, including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone, email, and chat, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Assist members in understanding health benefits, services, and available resources.
  • Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-ups with healthcare providers and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential member records in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
  • Research and compile information on various health conditions, treatments, and wellness programs.
  • Facilitate communication between members, providers, and insurance companies to resolve issues.
  • Support the development and distribution of educational materials for members.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proven empathy, patience, and active listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or a related field.

  • Experience using CRM software or electronic health records (EHR) systems.
