Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grant funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality, persuasive, and grammatically correct grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary program information, data, and budget details for proposals.
- Develop and maintain a master calendar of grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and submission processes.
- Monitor grant outcomes, track proposal statuses, and provide timely follow-up with funders.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective grantmakers.
- Stay informed about current trends in philanthropy, grant funding, and best practices in grant writing.
- Ensure all grant applications comply with funder guidelines and organizational standards.
- Assist in the development of compelling narratives, case statements, and supplementary materials for fundraising campaigns.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in successful grant writing and securing funding.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong research skills to identify appropriate funding sources and gather necessary information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
