Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
- Conduct comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the resort team.
- Administer employee benefits programs, prepare payroll inputs, and maintain accurate HR records and databases.
- Handle employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with Kenyan labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance staff skills, career progression, and succession planning.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports, metrics, and data to support informed decision-making and continuously improve HR effectiveness.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures specifically tailored to the unique demands of the hospitality sector.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee morale through various engagement and recognition activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor and confidential resource to both management and employees on all HR-related matters.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of Kenyan labor laws and employment regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
