Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and dusting office furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, ensuring hygiene standards are met and supplies are regularly replenished.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas in accordance with company guidelines.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, maintaining a streak-free appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, including reception, hallways, meeting rooms, and kitchenettes.
- Replenish facility supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other consumables as needed.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management in a timely manner.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies regarding cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and waste management.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting equipment malfunctions, if required.
- Assist with set-up and clean-up for office events or meetings as instructed.
- Report any damages, hazards, or necessary repairs to the facilities manager promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services, preferably in an office or commercial setting.
- Demonstrable knowledge of standard cleaning methods, proper use of cleaning chemicals, and maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough, systematic approach to tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good physical condition and stamina to handle cleaning duties, including lifting and bending.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to cleaning operations.

- High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working for a corporate office or industrial facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or local languages (French/Mauritian Creole).
