Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support patients with feeding, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Document observations and care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Escort patients to appointments or activities within the facility.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and organisational policies.
