Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, always maintaining client dignity.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques as trained.
  • Administer or prompt medication according to care plans and established protocols.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Perform light household duties such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities, fostering mental and emotional well-being.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as required.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or circumstances to the care coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided and any incidents.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
