Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Verify product counts and ensure orders match shipping documents to prevent discrepancies.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers, using appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines.
- Organize and maintain the shipping area, ensuring cleanliness and efficient workflow.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, sorting, and stocking materials.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status or potential issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and label generation.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
