Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
  • Monitor plant health, identifying and reporting signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
  • Operate and maintain basic farm equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Perform general farm maintenance, including weeding, tilling, fencing repairs, and facility clean-up.
  • Support the management and monitoring of irrigation systems.
  • Participate in soil preparation and amendment activities, including composting and fertilization.
  • Accurately record daily activities, observations, and relevant data for farm management.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the farm team to achieve production goals and maintain a positive atmosphere.

Required Skills

  • Strong work ethic and reliability, with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
  • Basic understanding of plant care or a strong willingness to learn rapidly.
