Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our bustling logistics team in Beau Bassin-Rose Hill. This crucial role involves the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods within our distribution centre, ensuring that our supermarkets are consistently stocked with the products our customers love. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be instrumental in the daily operations that keep our supply chain running smoothly. Your primary duties will encompass the receiving of incoming shipments, meticulous sorting and organization of inventory, and the careful loading of outgoing deliveries. Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods, meticulously checking against delivery notes for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Efficiently unload merchandise from delivery vehicles, utilizing appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) and following safety protocols.
- Sort and organize products into designated storage areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Perform order picking and packing duties with precision, preparing goods for dispatch to various Winners Supermarket branches.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks, ensuring secure and safe stowage to prevent transit damage.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) repetitively throughout a shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing simple documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
