Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms before and after patient use, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking.
- Sterilize and organize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Escort patients to exam rooms, assisting with mobility and comfort as needed.
- Accurately take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Document patient information and interactions meticulously in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, minor procedures, and specimen collection.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies, alerting appropriate staff to restocking needs.
- Ensure a welcoming and reassuring environment for all patients.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
- Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information with professionalism and empathy.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
