Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately to ensure consistent quality and taste of all menu items.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under supervision (e.g., blenders, slicers, mixers).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, kitchen area, and storage facilities, adhering strictly to hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and coordination.
  • Support dishwashing and general cleaning duties as needed to maintain a pristine kitchen environment.
  • Learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and procedures as guided by experienced team members.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, demonstrating a willingness to help and learn.
