Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing outstanding service.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and selections, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising and stock replenishment.
- Process incoming shipments, unboxing and organizing new inventory.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Actively promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high store standards.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and courteously, escalating when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, to ensure a safe environment for all.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a retail or service-oriented setting.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash transactions with accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform merchandising tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience (6 months+ is a plus).
- Familiarity with modern POS systems and inventory management basics.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
