Job Description

Your primary duties will involve accurately processing transactions, handling cash and card payments, and providing friendly and efficient service. Beyond the till, you’ll also assist with maintaining a clean and organised store environment, helping with stock replenishment, and answering basic customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at all times.
- Accurately process all customer transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of tender responsibly and with integrity.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and providing basic information.
- Support the stocking and merchandising of products on shelves as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the store supervisor promptly.
