Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, high-quality childcare for two school-aged children.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, both indoor and outdoor.
- Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary requirements.
- Manage children's schedules, including school, extracurricular activities, and appointments.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children at all times.
- Assist with children's laundry and maintain tidiness of their rooms and play areas.
- Foster positive behavior, social skills, and good manners through gentle guidance.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and needs.
- Assist with homework and school projects, providing support and encouragement.
- Oversee bath time, bedtime routines, and morning preparations.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and manage children's medications if required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a nanny, au pair, or in a similar professional childcare role.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and effective time management.
- A genuine love for children and deep understanding of child development stages.
- Ability to create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong professional work ethic.
- Impeccable references from previous childcare positions.
