Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and strategic Director of Communications to join our dynamic team in Souillac, Savanne District. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the communication strategy for Lux* Collective, enhancing our brand reputation, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. As the Director of Communications, you will lead our efforts in public relations, corporate communications, internal communications, and digital content strategy. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our diverse stakeholders, including guests, employees, investors, and the wider community. You will oversee the development and deployment of engaging content across our owned and earned media channels, ensuring brand voice consistency and messaging effectiveness. A significant part of your responsibility will also involve internal communications, fostering a strong sense of community and alignment among our global team members. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with Lux* Collective's brand vision and business objectives.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of public relations, media relations, and corporate communications globally.
  • Oversee internal communications, ensuring effective and engaging communication with all employees.
  • Manage crisis communications effectively, protecting the company's reputation and brand integrity.
  • Develop and implement digital content strategies, including social media, corporate blog, and website content, ensuring brand voice consistency.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze communication effectiveness, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure integrated and consistent messaging.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for thought leadership and executive profiling.
  • Manage external communication agencies and vendor relationships.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior communications role, preferably within the luxury hospitality or tourism sector.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience in media relations, public relations, and corporate communications.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication channels, content strategy, and social media management.
  • Crisis communication expertise with a track record of successful reputation management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into effective communication plans.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
