Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and register patients and visitors upon their arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
- Guide patients to relevant departments, consultation rooms, or waiting areas, providing clear directions and assistance.
- Manage patient flow and waiting areas efficiently, ensuring comfort and minimizing wait times.
- Answer patient inquiries, provide general information about hospital services, and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Assist medical staff with basic administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic's reception and waiting areas.
- Handle phone calls and direct them appropriately, taking messages when necessary.
- Provide basic first aid assistance in emergency situations, as trained and authorized.
- Ensure all patient information is handled with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
