Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide comprehensive product information and demonstrations to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and stockroom.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, and restocking merchandise.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Actively participate in sales promotions and special events.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including loss prevention guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
- Open and close the store as required, following established procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash/credit transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles.
