Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste in production.
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment improvements to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth product launches and ongoing operational excellence.
- Monitor production performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
- Manage and maintain accurate documentation for manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering changes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Production)
