Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee engineering projects from initial design phase through to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and quality control procedures.
- Coordinate and liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits, detailed inspections, and progress meetings, providing timely updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure all project activities strictly comply with relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Prepare precise technical specifications, detailed design documents, and procurement requests for project materials and services.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively develop robust mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Resolve complex technical issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, applying sound engineering principles and advanced problem-solving skills.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related field)
- Proficiency in industry-standard project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
- Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles and the entire project lifecycle management process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluent English as a primary requirement
- Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and adhere to strict timelines effectively
- Extensive experience with CAD software and the interpretation of complex technical drawings
