Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Support the comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes, including data gathering, variance analysis, and initial recommendations.
- Perform accurate and timely financial data entry, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and adherence to company policies.
- Execute detailed reconciliations of various general ledger accounts and transactions, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Learn, apply, and contribute to the enhancement of internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Assist with financial compliance tasks, including preparing necessary documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects, process improvements, and analytical tasks as required by the senior finance team.
- Collaborate effectively with other departmental teams to gather financial information, clarify data, and resolve related inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation with meticulous attention to detail for audit readiness and easy retrieval.
- Actively participate in training sessions and departmental meetings to continuously expand financial knowledge and professional skills.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
