Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, cognitive, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop, implement, and review individualised intervention plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, families, and carers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to manage conditions and improve daily living skills.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical codes, professional standards, and relevant legislation in the UK healthcare system.
Required Skills
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
- Eligibility for HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration in the UK.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong English proficiency.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a person-centred approach to care.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
