Key Responsibilities

  • Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials across various English-related subjects.
  • Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessment methods to ensure academic rigor and relevance.
  • Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
  • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations, theses, and research projects.
  • Conduct independent research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and academic conferences.
  • Actively participate in curriculum development and program review initiatives.
  • Provide academic advice, pastoral care, and mentorship to students.
  • Engage in departmental, faculty, and institutional administrative duties.
  • Contribute to the broader academic community through scholarly activities and professional development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in your field of expertise and incorporate new findings into teaching.

Required Skills

  • PhD in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, Communication Studies, or a related field.
