Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all daily catering operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and develop a high-performing team of catering staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Develop innovative menus, ensuring variety, seasonality, and alignment with client preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, monitor inventory, and negotiate with suppliers to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP) and company policies.
  • Coordinate with clients for event planning, logistics, and execution, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery at all times.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and strategies to expand catering services and client base.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in a Catering Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and staff development abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (e.g., HACCP certification).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects/events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team, clients, and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience with large-scale event catering or multi-site catering operations.
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and sustainable food practices.
  • Proficiency in catering management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • First Aid certification.
