Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning duties in guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, polishing furniture, and cleaning bathrooms to the highest standards.
  • Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and mini-bar items according to established procedures.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damage, or missing items and report them promptly to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
  • Assist guests with special requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised linen closet and housekeeping cart.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to security and guest privacy.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider hospitality team to ensure seamless guest experiences and high guest satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of English to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • A positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment as a Room Attendant or Housekeeper.
  • Knowledge of different cleaning techniques and products.

  • Relevant professional training or certifications in housekeeping or hospitality.
