Key Responsibilities

  • Lead interior design projects from initial concept development through to completion, ensuring alignment with client vision and project goals.
  • Develop detailed design plans, including space planning, furniture layouts, material selections, color palettes, and lighting schemes.
  • Prepare comprehensive design presentations, mood boards, 3D renderings, and technical drawings for client approval and contractor implementation.
  • Manage client relationships, conducting consultations, presenting designs, and incorporating feedback effectively.
  • Source and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and materials from various vendors, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and building codes relevant to interior design.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
  • Adapt design solutions to meet diverse cultural preferences and functional requirements of international clientele.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional interior design experience with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent spatial planning, color theory, and material selection skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated experience in client management and project coordination
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (visa sponsorship may be considered for exceptional candidates)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or advanced certification in Interior Design or related field
  • NCIDQ certification or equivalent international professional credential
  • Proficiency in Revit or other BIM software
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages common among international clients
  • Experience working on international projects or with a diverse client base
  • Demonstrated experience in sustainable design practices
  • A keen understanding of diverse global design aesthetics and cultural influences
