Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common desktop and laptop issues, including operating system and application errors.
- Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and user interactions in our ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up.
- Assist in maintaining IT inventory and asset management records.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-service oriented mindset with a patient and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
