Key Responsibilities
- Perform meticulous cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of medical and surgical instruments and equipment.
- Inspect instruments for functionality and damage, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards before sterilization.
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and other machinery, in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, instrument inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control, safety, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate actively in all required training and continuous education programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Manage and organize sterile supply inventory, ensuring proper rotation and storage.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
