Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute a diverse range of wellness programs and activities (e.g., fitness challenges, mindfulness workshops, nutritional seminars, stress management sessions).
  • Promote program participation through effective internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and presentations.
  • Source and manage relationships with external wellness vendors, facilitators, and partners.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness and impact of wellness initiatives using key performance indicators and employee feedback.
  • Manage the annual wellness budget, ensuring cost-effective and high-impact programming.
  • Act as a primary resource for employees seeking information and guidance on health and wellness topics.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in corporate wellness to continually enhance offerings.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to integrate wellness into the broader organizational strategy and culture.
  • Organize and facilitate health screenings, flu shot clinics, and other preventative health events.
  • Ensure all wellness programs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing corporate wellness programs.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing engaging wellness content and activities.
  • Ability to analyze program data and generate meaningful reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Wellness Practitioner, Health Coach).
  • Experience with wellness platforms or HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of Canadian health and safety regulations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
