Key Responsibilities
- Sort mail and packages efficiently for delivery along a prescribed route.
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses in Campustown, Champaign.
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection points.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and according to traffic laws (if route requires driving).
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with the public.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively and reliably in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to walk long distances for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
