Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a talented and passionate Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in developing and delivering engaging, effective, and innovative learning solutions tailored for English-speaking audiences. You will be instrumental in transforming complex subject matter into clear, concise, and interactive educational content across various formats, including e-learning modules, virtual workshops, job aids, and blended learning programs. As an Instructional Designer, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and multimedia developers to ensure instructional integrity, technical accuracy, and a superior learner experience. We are looking for someone with a strong command of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and a proven ability to produce high-quality instructional materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive instructional materials for diverse English-speaking audiences, utilizing a range of modalities including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and audience analyses to identify learning objectives and tailor content effectively.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content, clarify learning outcomes, and ensure accuracy and relevance of course material.
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure learning effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
  • Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to create interactive and visually appealing e-learning modules.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design, e-learning, and adult education.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical or conceptual information into clear and concise learning content.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content publishing (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone).
  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and multimedia development tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Certification in instructional design or adult education.
