Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, presenting menus with enthusiasm.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, daily specials, and beverage options, making recommendations as appropriate.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, checking on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs throughout their dining experience, proactively offering assistance.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and operating the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, service stations, and overall restaurant environment.
- Assist with table setup, breakdown, clearing, and general restaurant duties as needed to support the team.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure seamless service flow and a positive guest experience.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Participate in daily briefings and training sessions to enhance service quality and product knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting (minimum 6 months).
