Are you an experienced and highly motivated Financial Planning Consultant seeking the flexibility and autonomy of a home-based role? Foster Denovo is expanding its team and looking for a dedicated professional to join us as a Work from Home Financial Planning Consultant, serving clients predominantly within the Croydon and wider Greater London area, while enjoying the benefits of remote work. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews with clients to understand their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and personal circumstances.
  • Develop and present tailored financial plans covering investments, pensions, protection, and estate planning strategies.
  • Proactively manage and nurture a portfolio of clients, ensuring regular communication and ongoing review of their financial position.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of financial products and services, ensuring suitability and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory changes (FCA guidelines).
  • Prepare accurate and compliant client documentation, including suitability reports and client agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to streamline administrative processes and enhance client service.
  • Actively participate in continuous professional development and training initiatives.
  • Achieve agreed-upon business targets and client service metrics.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a Financial Adviser or Planner in the UK.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a client portfolio.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS) or working towards Chartered status.
  • Experience with remote client engagement tools and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Existing client bank or demonstrable ability to generate new business through referrals and networking.
  • Specialist qualifications in areas such as Long Term Care, Equity Release, or Taxation.
