Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our growing healthcare team in Limoilou, Quebec City. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries under physician supervision.
- Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies in accordance with provincial regulations.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Assist physicians in performing minor surgical procedures and other clinical interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide appropriate medical advice or referrals.
Required Skills
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant in Quebec (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in primary care or urgent care.
- Proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written) is essential for patient communication.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while maintaining effective collaboration with a healthcare team.
