Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design, planning, and optimization of drilling, completion, and production operations.
- Participate in reservoir characterization studies, including data acquisition, analysis, and simulation modeling.
- Support the monitoring and analysis of well performance data to identify opportunities for production enhancement.
- Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and methodologies for improved oil and gas recovery.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing engineering analyses and recommendations.
- Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other technical personnel on integrated field development plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all engineering activities.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong understanding of fundamental petroleum engineering principles (drilling, production, reservoir, completions).
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience in engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Excel).
