Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in the design, planning, and optimization of drilling, completion, and production operations.
  • Participate in reservoir characterization studies, including data acquisition, analysis, and simulation modeling.
  • Support the monitoring and analysis of well performance data to identify opportunities for production enhancement.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies and methodologies for improved oil and gas recovery.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing engineering analyses and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, and other technical personnel on integrated field development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all engineering activities.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental petroleum engineering principles (drilling, production, reservoir, completions).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience in engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Excel).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
