Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on products at various stages of production, identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Load and unload materials and products onto the production line, ensuring accurate placement and handling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Follow production schedules and targets, working efficiently to meet daily output requirements.
  • Assist with basic machinery maintenance and troubleshooting, reporting complex issues to senior technicians.
  • Accurately complete production logs and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and precise.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English for clear communication and understanding of instructions.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (minimum 6 months).
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift license (reach or counterbalance).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications.
  • First Aid certification.
