Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable, secure, and robust architectural solutions for new and existing software platforms.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural principles to guide development teams.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Conduct architectural reviews, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to determine their applicability and impact on our architecture.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, decision records, and technical specifications.
- Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the engineering organization.
- Contribute to the strategic technology roadmap and long-term architectural vision for the company.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an Architect role.
- Proven experience with enterprise-level system design and distributed architectures (e.g., microservices, event-driven).
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including serverless, containerization, and managed services.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go, Node.js).
- Deep knowledge of security principles and practices in software design and deployment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing strategies.
