Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain to ensure optimal product availability and minimize waste.
- Analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and financial performance to inform strategic decisions and adjust plans.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers and products that align with category strategy and customer demand.
- Manage product lifecycle from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring timely and effective transitions.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
