Job Description

As a Category Manager at Career.zycto, you will be a pivotal force in shaping our product offerings and market strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain to ensure optimal product availability and minimize waste.
  • Analyze sales data, consumer behavior, and financial performance to inform strategic decisions and adjust plans.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers and products that align with category strategy and customer demand.
  • Manage product lifecycle from introduction to discontinuation, ensuring timely and effective transitions.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Category Manager or in a similar strategic purchasing role (4+ years).
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
