The ISO Compliance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of our ISO-certified management systems, ensuring all processes and documentation meet stringent international standards. You will act as a key liaison during internal and external audits, driving corrective and preventive actions, and fostering a company-wide culture of quality. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with ISO standards, identifying areas for improvement and non-conformities.
  • Manage the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring successful certification and surveillance audits.
  • Lead the development and revision of quality management system documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records.
  • Facilitate corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, tracking their effectiveness and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on ISO standards, quality principles, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance and quality management.
  • Stay abreast of changes in ISO standards and regulatory requirements, recommending updates to current systems as necessary.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate compliance requirements into daily operations.
  • Support management review meetings by preparing relevant data and presenting performance insights.
  • Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an ISO Compliance Specialist or similar quality assurance role.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant ISO standards.
  • Strong understanding of audit principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze complex information and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification.
  • Experience with integrated management systems (IMS).
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry.
