Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing procedures.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts accurately.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both physical and digital.
- Process expense reports and petty cash reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support budgeting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- AAT qualification or equivalent.
