Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial modeling, valuation analysis, and return projections for potential investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and competitive landscaping to identify attractive sectors and investment themes.
- Assist in all phases of due diligence, including financial, commercial, operational, and legal aspects, coordinating with third-party advisors.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda, presentations, and other supporting materials for internal investment committee reviews.
- Support the monitoring and analysis of existing portfolio company performance, including financial reporting and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in deal sourcing activities, screening potential targets, and building relationships with intermediaries and entrepreneurs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of value creation strategies for portfolio companies.
- Assist with transaction execution, including documentation review and closing processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting.
- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comparable company/transaction analysis).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex information concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
