You’ll begin by assisting our current servers, observing their techniques, understanding diverse guest needs, and gradually taking on more responsibilities as you gain confidence, proficiency, and familiarity with our service standards. Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and observe experienced servers to learn proper serving techniques, guest interaction best practices, and efficient table management.
- Assist in warmly greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, and answering initial questions about our offerings.
- Support senior servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or appetizers, and promptly clearing finished dishes from tables.
- Diligently learn and memorize the full menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, daily specials, and beverage selections.
- Practice taking accurate food and beverage orders, escalating complex orders, dietary restrictions, or specific guest questions to senior staff.
- Help maintain the pristine cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting and resetting tables to company standards.
- Assist with essential side duties such as polishing cutlery, folding napkins, and stocking service stations to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient service flow.
- Handle basic cash and credit card transactions under direct supervision, learning proper point-of-sale system usage and closing procedures.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and company-specific service standards at all times.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in any customer service-oriented role (e.g., retail, call center, volunteer work).
- Valid Smart Serve certification (or a commitment to obtain it immediately upon hire).
- Genuine passion for food, particularly Mexican cuisine, and a strong interest in the hospitality industry.
- Bilingualism (Spanish language skills are considered a valuable asset but not strictly required).
