Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all routine and preventative maintenance activities for the facility.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
- Respond promptly to facility-related service requests and emergencies, troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and management of the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs, potential hazards, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service agreements, equipment inventory, and safety documentation.
- Support space planning and office reconfigurations, coordinating moves and furniture installations.
- Oversee building security systems and access control, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to protocols.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in facilities management or a related operational role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to facility challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with facilities management software.
- Demonstrated understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and general maintenance practices.
