Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technical sales engineers in preparing and delivering product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Support the development of technical proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Shadow sales calls and client meetings to observe best practices in technical selling and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product features and translate technical specifications into client benefits.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from potential clients under supervision.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to deepen product knowledge and sales methodologies.
  • Contribute to the refinement of sales processes and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong foundational understanding of technical concepts and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn about sales processes and client interaction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or volunteer work.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of specific industry technologies relevant to Career.zycto's offerings (e.g., IoT, AI, Cloud, specific software platforms).
  • Fluency in French (strongly preferred given the Lac Boivin, Granby location).
  • Participation in extracurricular activities or projects demonstrating leadership or teamwork.
