Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Project Delivery Partner to join our dynamic team, operating from New Town, Edinburgh. As a key strategic partner, you will be instrumental in overseeing the successful end-to-end delivery of complex digital transformation and IT projects for our diverse client base. This remote role demands a leader who can not only manage project lifecycles, resources, and budgets but also act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for complex digital transformation and IT projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to closure.
- Act as the primary client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding their strategic needs, and effectively managing expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals in a remote working environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource utilization efficiently, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among remote team members and stakeholders using appropriate digital tools and platforms.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies and best practices within Sopra Steria.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management, preferably within IT services or digital transformation.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate remote and distributed teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams).
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing complex project budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience working with public sector or large enterprise clients.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in pre-sales support and proposal development for project opportunities.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration into project delivery.
