Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate insurance claims, determining validity and extent of company liability.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, policyholders, and external stakeholders, providing clear updates and empathetic support.
- Negotiate fair and equitable settlements, adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Document all findings, communications, and actions accurately and promptly in the claims system.
- Collaborate with legal teams, underwriters, and other departments to ensure comprehensive claim resolution.
- Identify and report potential fraudulent claims, conducting thorough due diligence.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, legal changes, and best practices in insurance claims.
- Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements.
