Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load and unload product totes, cartons, and various merchandise from delivery trucks, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Accurately sort and organize incoming products into designated areas within the receiving dock and warehouse.
  • Verify product quantities and types against delivery manifests and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as required, safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding product discrepancies or operational issues.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring products are correctly consolidated and ready for transfer or storage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and store operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and verifying products.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills to read manifests and perform simple counts.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail receiving, or material handling role.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Experience operating manual pallet jacks or similar equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
