Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments and site investigations.
- Design and optimize pollution control systems for air, water, and soil contaminants.
- Develop and implement robust waste management plans and resource recovery strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and comprehensive project documentation.
- Perform advanced data analysis and environmental modeling to evaluate conditions and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and clients to understand project needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Oversee and manage remediation projects for contaminated sites.
- Stay continuously updated on emerging environmental technologies, policies, and best practices.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support on environmental aspects across various projects.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or a relevant industry.
- Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software (e.g., GIS, MODFLOW, AERMOD, PHREEQC).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and client interactions.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA).
- Proven experience with project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
