Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Agile Coach to join our team, working with one of our dynamic clients in Leduc, Alberta. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Agile professional to drive significant organizational change, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and empower development teams to achieve peak performance. As an Agile Coach, you will be instrumental in guiding teams and leadership through their agile journey, facilitating workshops, providing one-on-one coaching, and helping to remove impediments to successful agile adoption. You will champion agile principles and practices, scale agile frameworks, and help embed an agile mindset throughout the organization. Your expertise will directly influence product delivery, team dynamics, and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Coach multiple agile teams and leadership on agile principles, practices, and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, workshops, and training sessions for various stakeholders.
- Assess current agile maturity, identify areas for improvement, and develop tailored coaching plans.
- Guide teams in self-organization, cross-functionality, and continuous improvement.
- Work with product owners to ensure effective backlog management and value delivery.
- Collaborate with senior management to embed agile frameworks and foster an agile culture across the organization.
- Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and team members to enhance their agile capabilities.
- Help resolve impediments and foster an environment of psychological safety and transparency.
- Drive adoption of metrics and reporting to track progress and demonstrate the impact of agile transformation.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong command of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, training, and coaching sessions effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in guiding organizational change and transformation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Certifications such as CSM, CSPO, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, DaD).
- Background in software development or IT project management.
- Experience with agile tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Asana.
- Prior experience working in the energy, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
